NCSSM is in the process of renovating the auditorium in phases, made possible through a lead gift by the Barnes Family Foundation, and in honor of this generous gift, renaming it the Cynthia Fowler Barnes Auditorium.

Status

• Facade improvements that will feature this new name will begin soon, along with improved exterior stairs

• In early 2024, needed structural and fireproofing repairs wrapped up, with the auditorium re-opening for the remainder of the academic year

• House lighting was upgraded in the summer of 2024

• Remaining interior renovations (TBD based on available funding)
