Thanks to a record $7.5 million dollar private lead gift, we are creating a brand new three-story Academic Commons building addition to the Bryan building extending into the middle of campus. It is envisioned by architects as a bright and airy multi-purpose dining, instructional and meeting space that can accommodate collaboration among larger groups of students and educators, similar to student commons commonly found at other UNC System institutions and in many NC high schools.
